Burton is a US Marine Corps and OEF Veteran and has called Albuquerque home since 2004. He's completed seminary through the New Mexico School of Ministry and has studied at Shepherd’s School. 

Burton has spent two decades working closely with people dealing with addictions, depression, and other serious matters starting in law enforcement, then crossing over into healthcare where he's worked in emergency care, and hospice.  

  Burton heard his call into ministry starting with Veteran's outreach, because of issues he found himself dealing with while transitioning back to civilian life from active duty overseas, and in Praise & Worship with a lifelong love of music as a multi-instrument musician. He has performed with several large churches over the years as a vocalist and bassist, both those he's served in and others who have asked him to join them for special events and performances.

  Burton and his wife Tess have raised one son, BJ. In his free time Burton loves riding his motorcycle and playing his bass guitar. 

Michael is a native New Mexican and has lived in Albuquerque all his life. He gave his life to Jesus at the 1997 Billy and Franklin Graham crusades here in Albuquerque. In 2002 he successfully completed The School of Ministry at Calvary of Albuquerque. In 2013 he received a Certificate of Completion in a two year Shephard School program from Cross Christian Fellowship Bible School.

Michael is currently associate pastor at Cross Christian Fellowship Route 66. Michael and Pastor Mark meet at The Shephard School and have both been in ministry together since. Michael and Elizabeth met in 2006 and have been married since 2010. Michael has one daughter and Lizz has three sons and between them both they have twelve grandchildren. Michael and Lizz both desire to serve the Lord in whatever capacity He is leading.

In his free time Michael practices the guitar and would someday like to participate in the worship team. However, he says at his rate of learning it will probably be more likely, when he is in heaven, before he is ready to play. When not practicing the guitar or reading the Bible, Michael enjoys reading about the heroes of the faith, those whose lives that were totally given to the ministry of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Burton's wife! Tess grew up overseas as her father served in the USAF. She is now a teacher for APS, with a love of the Lord, and serving.

A talented guitarist, pianist, and vocalist, she has performed in many open mic nights around town and has performed the National Anthem to open for the Albuquerque Isotopes! And she has taught several students how to play guitar in after school programs.

Bryan is a US Army Veteran, part of our praise and worship team, and our fellowship's Treasurer!

Bryan can be found singing regularly on Sunday's, is known to bring his trombone from time to time, and our keyboard around the holidays!
